Is it possible to set-up Appscriber to "e-mail/notify" a users manager for approval for authorisation/access to an application? Then the manager has to authorise access before the user can access the application.

We're currently defining the scope for AppScriber 2.0, and one of the main new features will be a workflow mechanism like you describe.
Very briefly: it will be possible to define applications for which access has to be requested. Configured application managers will receive those requests via e-mail, and can then accept/reject via the web interface.

AppScriber 2.0 sounds good already. Giving a manager insight in what applications his/her department uses is great. Perhaps even mention the costs of the application so the manager can see what this will do to his/her budget.
Is there a releasedate for V2 planned yet? Or a rough estimate perhaps?
Sam.
