We are always looking for feedback on our products. This thread is specifically intended for feature requests. Please post any issues you might encounter as seperate forum topics.

Please note that we cannot guarantee whether your specific feature requests will make it into the product.

To get you started here are some of the major features that we will develop for the next version of Immidio Flex Profiles.

- App-V integration in Flex Profiles Management Console
- Predefined User Settings (first time and mandatory)
- Windows Profile Cleanup
- Flex Profile Kit 5.1 auto-migration support

In our environment we could use the following features:

- user interface for applying application settings from zip archive, if a user misconfigure his/her application (i think a end user didn't know how to apply the settings back from the archive)
- possibility to store more than one archive for an application (archive history), so a user can switch back to settings from 2 or 3 days earlier (until now the only possibility is to restore the archive from backups, but a end user is in most cases not able to restore a file)

Hi,

I´m working on an implementation of Flex Profiles and run into a problem.
The user profile is made up of a Manadatory Profile (English) and Flex.
Regional and language settings are "flexed" properly (they change accrodingly)
The display language is NOT changed.
I think the problem lies in the fact that changing display languages needs a logoff. But when changing the display language the registry value HKCU\Control Panel\Desktop\PreferredUILanguagesPending is created/set, but when logging back in this value needs to be HKCU\Control Panel\Desktop\PreferredUILanguages.
This is NOT a problem of Flex Profiles, but it would be cool if Flex is "smart" enough to change this value during logoff so that after a user logs back in again, the display language is changed accordingly.

Using IFP 7.

I would like the capability in the future to have an option to save files newer than 'x' days from certain folders and lose the rest, e.g. recent, history, cookies to help prevent bloat on these components.

A nice future component wuld be something that can migrate user settings from 32Bit OS to 64 bit OS (would help those Win2k3 to Win2k8R2 migrations), primarily with the major applications (adobe, Office) but extensible so that you can create mapping files to redirect as required.

Flex Profiles 7 adds integration with App-V, but you can integrate one INI into one OSD. Why not one INI into many OSD's?
Large and complex App-V packages, like Microsoft Office have many OSD's and it would be a lot easier to create one INI from Office 2010 template and with one button click integrate it into all OSD's in Office App-V package.
