Hello,
i have a big problem with appscriber 2.0. i create a new tag and then the error comes with a click on the save buttom.
my system are win2k8r2 x64 dc + iis. i have also the problem on w2k3r2 as memberserver.
Unable to validate data.
at System.Web.Configuration.MachineKeySection.EncryptOrDecryptData(Boolean fEncrypt, Byte[] buf, Byte[] modifier, Int32 start, Int32 length, Boolean useValidationSymAlgo)
at System.Web.UI.ObjectStateFormatter.Deserialize(String inputString)
]
the trick with <pages validateRequest="false" enableEventValidation="false" viewStateEncryptionMode ="Always" /> in the web.config did not resolve the problem.

Ducke,
Are you able to create tags at all, or does this error occur always when creating a tag?
Are you able to create other items (messages, applications) or does that fail as well?

Hmmm by restarting the iexplore.exe the problem is solved :) sorry...

Here we go again. Next day - same problem :(
The Error occurs when creating a new tag / message / application / search.
Please help :)

I'm sorry to hear that you're still encountering problems.
When the issue occurs, what happens if you click the Immidio logo in the top left corner? Does the system work again, or does the problem remain?
Also, does the problem arise randomly, or could it be that the browser session has timed out?

No Problem, i´am on the first page.

At this time, the error is always there also when the browser is restarted

Manuel,
After you click on the Immidio logo and get back to the main AppScriber page, does the system then function correctly again, or does the problem remain?
Does restarting IIS using "iisreset" resolve the problem (at least temporarily)?

sorry for the late replay.
i build my testlab with a new w2k3 server(dc+iis+sql2008 express) and it works like a charm.
