I have Outlook 2003 installed on my Citrix servers and using Flex 6.0. There are no problem. However, I am trying to implement a fax solution (it integrates with Outlook) from Esker and installed the client on a test server. If I test the solution using my account, there are no problems - but I am an administrator. However, if a standard user tries to run the fax feature, nothing happens. And if the user tries to use the "print" option, the users receive an OLE error.
I can only assume there is a permission issue somewhere. I have tried using regshot, regmon, and filemon and cannot find anything. I have gone into the registry and opened everything up as far as I can. I even have Esker trying to help me with this and they are drawing a blank.
If anybody has any suggestions, it would be GREATLY appreciated.

Hi Erl,
Does the Fax solution run without Flex Profiles when you login as a user ?

Yes, it does run as intded. Here is some more info...
When a Citrix user logs in, it creates a couple of keys in HKEY_USERS

If I assigned the permissions EVERYONE – FULL CONTROL, to those keys, then the client will work. However, this is where things get tricky. When the user logs out, these keys disappear – and the user needs to log out for the permission changes to take effect. (Obviously, by nature, these keys would disappear when a user logs out). I just managed to “break” the registry so that these keys won’t disappear when the users logs out and the permissions stay. I have managed to make this work on another server and it works without incident. Only thing, I have only have one test user to log in at a time, so I don’t know if addition keys would get created if more people were to log in.
Now, if I give authenticated users Administrator privileges to the Citrix server, again, no problems.
