hi
problem with desktop icons. i generated a mandatory profile with a few settings i need. now users complain that the icons of their desktops are not restored at logon.
any ideas? thx tom

Hi Tom,
Couple of questions:
- Are the icons not being restored at all, or are they restored but just not the position? - Which version of Flex Profiles are you using? - Could you post the content of your Flex Profiles .INI file?

hi Rodney!
did a lot of tests and after a few hours of work i found out that this key was responsible for not restoring the icon positions.
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion
i took it out of my windows_and_ie.ini and now it works fine
below my ini file
