Hi
I experience problems using flexprofiles and windows xp themes. If I select theme windows classic, flex save settings, log back on, the theme is set on the selection field but is NOT displayed. Instead the Windows XP theme is.
- Windows XP SP3
- Version of flex profile is not relevant (all versions do not work)
- explorer.exe starts after logon (synchronous logon script processing is enabled.
- ini file hold:
HKCU\Control Panel\Cursors
HKCU\Control Panel\Colors
HKCU\Control Panel\Desktop
HKCU\AppEvents\Schemes\Apps\.Default
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Plus!\Themes
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Themes
HKCU\Control Panel\Desktop\WindowMetrics
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ThemeManager
HKCU\Control Panel\Appearance
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Desktop
- all other gpo's are disabled
- no relevant login script (or other scripts) are processed wich could set values in wiondows apperance.
So does anybody if this could work at all ?
Has anybody a working setup?
Is it possible to select and activate a theme by scripting ? Wichout displaying the theme dialog and do a sendto(ENTER). Also there are solutions wich require and old version of themeui.dll (windowsxp sp1 version) but I dont want that..

hi, i set themes with a microsoft policy
user config\administrative templates\control Panel\Personalization
force a spesific visual style file.......
