Hi,
We are using FP 7.0.2 on our Windows 7 clients and Citrix (Windows Server 2003). Right now when a user logs off from Citrix the follwoing error is displayed:
"Immidio Flex Profiles has encoutered an unrecoverable error"
At login FP is started as Group Policy side-extension and during logoff a logoff script is started. The logging level is set to INFO, but the logs doesn't show any errors.
We recently changed some exclusions and criteria when a config file should be used or not.
Kind regards,
Dennis

Dennis,
A few questions:
Does the problem occur always?
Does the problem occur also if you run the FlexEngine.exe -s command interactively during the session (maybe with more arguments - check your logoff script).
If you have the "Show Flex Profiles logon and logoff progress information" policy setting enabled, can you try turning that off?

Arnout,
I'm not sure if all users have this error, but if you ever get this message it will appear at every logoff from Citrix. Also if FlexEngine.exe -s is run during the session it will also result in this error message (logfile still doesn't show any errors)
The "Show Flex Profiles logon and logoff progress information" option is disabled.
I also found a version difference between Citrix and Windows 7. Citrix is running 7.0.1 and Windows 7 is running 7.0.2, but it is running like this for a couple of months without any problem.

Dennis,
Please upgrade to 7.0.2 (or 7.5.2...) on Citrix, particularly since you're using the Group Policy client-side extension. I don't think any of the 7.0.1 issues would exhibit the behaviour you're currently seeing, but it's a rather important update nonetheless.

Arnout,
I've upgraded one of the Citrix servers to 7.0.2 and did a simple test. It seems that upgrading from 7.0.1 to 7.0.2 did the trick. The errors are only for a couple of days now, but the version difference was like this a couple of months. Something we have changed (config files) recently must have triggered the unrecoverable error.
Regards,
Dennis

Dennis,
I don't recall all changes between 7.0.1 and 7.0.2, but they mainly focus on import-related actions. I'm glad to hear that the upgrade seems to have done the trick for your "export issue" as well, but please do let us know if the problem reoccurs.
Either way, as stated before, 7.0.2 was a pretty important update, so it's good to have it installed anyway.
